Your USB pen drive got corrupted and cannot be detected in both Windows and Linux or the details of the USB drive seems to be fake? Here’s the solution,
Connect your USB drive and Download CHIP GENIUS and run it. It will display the information of the controller chip in side the USB Drive.
Here I have used a corrupted Kingston USB Drive which is not detected as a storage device.
Then note down the VID and PID values displayed. Then go to http://flashboot.ru/iflash/ and enter the VID and PID values for your USB drive and search for the appropriate tool.
Download the tool using the link provded and execute the program. Then you will have to figure out or follow the guide lines given by the downloaded tool to restore the USB drive.
After the restore is complete format the USB drive. That’s it. You’re Welcome 😛
